May 14th 2016 was a special weekend for Troop 890 as we celebrated the milestone of awarding our 500th Eagle Scout. This is an important milestone that a very small number of troops have achieved. We recognized those who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout and celebrate all Scouts from Troop 890 who have created a great legacy for today’s Scouts.
Weekend Highlights included:
- May 14th at 5:30 500 Eagles Ceremony – Social hour and celebration ceremony at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, including special guests from the Boy Scouts National Office, National Eagle Scout Association and former Scouts and Scouters. Please join us to celebrate and re-connect with old friends.
- May 15th at 11:00 Sunday Scout worship service at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church
